reflections
With each passing day. I begin to discover new found contentment towards this entire year, It finally struck me that I'm a young adult. Im 18! I feel so much alive. And im proud to say that throughout these 7 months had somewhat changed me into someone more mature.
It's evident how we have all become a little more "grown up". =) I really see the transformation in those people close to my heart and it really touches me. There's really so many opportunities out there for me to grow into a young adult.-cca-wise, academic wise and relationship-wise.
I know I don't say this enough. But weihao, you're the greatest comfort in my life. To quote Monica from FRIENDS: "I don't believe you and I were destined to end up with each other... I think we fell in love and work hard at our relationships. some days we work really hard" Amidst all the stress, having you around really soothes my soul. <3 you.
Some may say. "Hard work pays off later, procrastination pays off now". Im here to say, "later has become now!" my hard work finally paid off and I improved by 5 grades for my physics. Woot! But also, the next couple of months is sure gonna be a hell of a pain but the sweet taste of victory is almost near.
Rugby. Unknown to a lot of people in njc, the touch rugby year 2s are still training for the upcoming comp. in late July, All the ccas have already step down and the school ought to give us an award for the longest serving cca group. Ha. I've been grumbling a lot regarding the trainings (coz the stupid comp. was postponed because of the rain)... and now I'm finally presented with the choice as to pull out from the comp or not. As much as I want to settle down and focus on studies, it's really a waste to just pull out from the comp after so many months of trainings. I'm really in a dilemma. And it's yet another choice I have to make.
Another person that has really played a great part in my life is Ena! How we both try to heed Junhong's advice and to be less of a bitch. 'Cause according to Junhong, guys really hate girls who keep bitching to their boyfriends. Hahas.
Also, we encouraged each other to have healthy relationships with our families! wow, thinking about the difference in our families in the traumatic 2004 as compared to now.. it's like 360 degrees of change. I remember how my mother would always SCREAM at me when im on the phone with ena, and ena will just laugh her heads off at my mom's shouting. And I also rem how emo ena gets each time her parents fly off to Australia, which is freaking often!!!
all righties, enough of this out of the blue kind of reflections =) tata.
