aristal 2006 was a blast!
krystle and natg were awesome! ha. it was really easy spotting natg, maybe it was cause of her dimples! anw, we bought them sunflowers! and we buy natg some orange ducky organic biscuit that has no trans fat, no preservatives, no hydrogenated oil..

and shuying looked really hot! hahas! everyone looked good out of the dumb nj uniform la!
hmm.. fyi, rustea and i are on talking terms now. must always make a mental note not to irriate him.

elections

The general elections and nj's council elections are coming up! As the buzz of campaigning that goes around me gets more and more attention seeking, i start to realise there are several parallels that we can draw from these 2 major events.

The government has deployed the Progress Package to gather more PAP support, even though they claimed it's to share the surpluses with the entire nation, to make distribution of income more equal...blah blah. even a 10 year old kid will know the obvious intention that the government has of giving out MONEY! especially so at a date so close to the general election.
in school, we see similar acts by the council candinates. We find candies on the canteen table in a box that yells at us to "VOTE FOR ME.. coz i run the second mile" u get the idea of those cheesy slogans. Or we get "free drinks by Kristy Teo" and the poster is aptly placed right above the water cooler. (that i must say is very innovative)
yupx, they are giving out candies, tissues just to get our votes. maybe one day... they will do it like the government and give out MONEY! yays!

the candies, like the progress package, we dont see them around often do we? only when election dates are near. yup after they get elected into office, hmm.. where' the buzz? where's all the talk about improving student welfare? If those feeback sessions are productive... i still dont understand why i still have to pack up after training IN THE DARK! perhaps those grandstand lights are there for decorative purposes.

HOLIDAY
the election date falls on a holiday! just like nj's speech day where candiates are to give a speech to the entire school. only that, the "entire" school would probably not be there coz some of us would have self declared it's a holiday too! =)



okay now. im so ready to vote.

the writer understands that the above issues raised are rather sensitive issues. and perhaps she has been politically incorrect. but because the write has to calculate the probability that she will draw 4 aces from a deck of card (which is a very impt skill that students these days have to learn especially so when the integrated resorts, with the casinos are coming uP. the writer is unable further elaborate her points.

i hate russell

i have this classmate. his name is rustea.

and if anyone were to ask what my ideal boyfriend is like. all thanks to rustea, i am now able to give a short and sweet answer : my ideal guy would be everything rustea is NOT.

rustea is the typical ex-GEP student. who thinks he's all so great and almighty in njc. always seen carrying a rubik cube, with the obvious intention of impressing those IPs girls.
after getting back his maths common tests paper, rustea never misses the opportunity to show it off by deliberately leaving it on a table. perfect mockery to others who had not done as well as him. thus provoking others to sribble words like "rustea sucks" which is a refreshing change of vandalism, instead of the usual " njc sucks" that we find on the tables in the oasis.

rustea's attempts at being humorous may seem downright pathetic. yet again, u will never feel so tempted to give anyone a tight slap in the face after hearing what he got to say. " my gp teacher told us to read essays of those who had down exceedingly well... so i spent the entire period reading my essay again)

once, I deliberately use a marker to draw on rustea's uniform( which i freaking regretted) and i swear there is no other reaction as explosive as rustea's upon interacting with the marker than any other living soul in the universe. (try this to annoy rustea to the max, though im sure there are ten thousand of ways to do so)

rugby sevens.

went for rugby sevens today! =)
saw some fantastic matches! and fiji emerged the cup champions! their passes were so forceful and the ball always spin perfectly like a torpedo. i wonder when i can ever pass like that.
today has been a great day! all the laughter that we shared as a team. hahaas. i know i love it during the half time coz the dj will always blast those awesome music through the entire stadium and my whole team will just dance like crazy donkeys. hahahs. it was uber high!




you will always remain a mystery to me. it's like the wind. i can feel it... yet i cant see it.
