Bay escapade 08

After all the planning and preparation that we have been doing, Bay Escapade 08 is finally here today:) The participants were rather rar rar on their part and i think the event was pretty successful! but it's pity i didnt really got the chance to know any freshies better, hmmm but still a great tanning/kayaking day!

this cant be happening on a fri

some things are really irritating the hell out of me.

one for example is when your IC arrow someone in the group to go get something done without CC-ing the rest of the group. tsssssk. im damn disgusted with this lack of transparency. and her reason for not being free to collect the form from PUB?! "DOCTOR"S APPOINTMENT" arggh. i think i can come up with a better excuse than that if i ever need to. and to cut the story short, I ended up being the one who has to go down to collect the form. argghhh. (which totally screw up me day's schedule!)

and the second thing that is annoying the hell out of me also, is the "ching chang chong people. could their questions BE anymore direct?!

and yesterday was fatty yong's departure. a bummer when one of your fav people in the world is leaving. i really hope to see him in Cardiff one day. bye micheal yongg!

it was an awesome weekend, (this time without kayaking!)
i went berkelah falls, in malaysia with SMUX. :)

we actually walk from Marsiling MRT station, across the causeway to City Square in JB.
AND that was really just a warm up to the real trek.

some parts of the trek were pretty dangerous, the slippery mossy rocks and my lousy frictionless scandals did nothing to prevent me from falling a couple of times. now my knees are bruised like a tomato!
some of the smux guys are really nice to help us on the trek... while others, i shant comment.

after trekking whole morning and half an afternoon, we finally reached the campsite! and the final waterfall!

haha and for dinner guess what we managed to cook up at the waterfall?
we had curry chicken, pasta, rice, eggs with cheese sausage, choc fondue! hahah it was such a spread man! i never knew trekkers can be so creative with food!
if you think SMUX trekking is about canned food, maggie mee then ya sooooo wroonnnggggg! hahahas!

the trek up to the waterfall was really worth it.
it was an amazing view. and in places like these, i stand in awe of God's creation.
It's indescribable to know that I'm being loved by Someone who form the valleys, drew the clouds, plant the trees, set the stars in the skies, and has infinite control over the waters!
it's a very humbling and overwhelming feeling all at the same time.

it's time for josef (again!)

met with my fav teacher over lunch today.
mr josef of course.
had lunch at aston's before we went to this secluded starbucks at suntec tower 4.
as always, it's such a great time with that man!

im really glad to have a 30 year old friend in him.
he hates it when i call him my 'best friend' hahahas. i think it's the fear of the commitment.
ah wells.
but i do like to throw these big words around to scare him. words and phrases like " we've got a very transparent friendship" hahhahas! but we have established a common ground, whatever this is. a ex student-teacher/ friends- relationship.

ahh we talked about deep stuff again.
school (his and mine!) , family, spirituality, marketing, education... and what nots.

hmmm i always feel good after meeting him!
think his energy and passion is infectious.
weehees. i feel more alive than ever! ( or was it that caffeine laden mocha) hmmm.


anyhows, meeting annie and lydia for dinner tonight !
