we had cell appreciation part 2 at jenny's new place :)
Praise God for her new home that God has provided, which will also be our cell's weekly meeting place for the next couple of years...
Am looking forward to God moving and revealing himself to us in that sanctuary.
so what we do at cell appreciation is that each individual will be placed under the spotlight one at a time. and we all just take turns to share how we appreciate that individual, or sharing words of encouragement, and stories of how this person has inspired/ blessed us.
hahah there were some funny moments. when we laugh about the first 'fearful' impression that some girls have of other girls. (which i noticed is only a girls thing) or we just laugh at Chester's lameo jokes...
i just thank God for this opportunity to hear what my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ have to say about my personality. i guess most of them agree that i am independent n strong...
It struck me very strongly that these are my God given traits and I should use them to the best of my ability to serve and glorify Him...
Zach gave a very strong statement that I have the leadership qualities to lead a cell group. wow...never thought i was capable of that. let alone others thinking that i am capable of that.
well i will definitely keep praying that God will reveal to me areas that i can use my talents to serve Him.
also this cell appreciation really brights to light the little things that we do that may seem unnoticed. it's really encouraging to know that your littlest action or every comforting words spoken are much appreciated.
"From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work."
