oh my! i found my wedding song! haha. it's Spanish (i think!) and im absolutely clueless what the song is about. haha, for all i know the lyrics could go something like " i loved with a fire red, now it's turning blue". haha but it shouldn't be a problem as i highly doubt i will be inviting any Spanish guests for the wedding! i really really digg this song! damnnn romantic! puts me in the "awwwww" mood.
so there. i've said it. haha so no one will come along and say ehh " you choose my song!"

ever wondered where in the world you were when Facebook was launched back in 2004? why did it take us (singaporeans) close to 3 -4 years before we finally caught on with the hype? ehhh.. just sieve through your memories, and i think we were on Friendster the social networking site (SNS) which we thought back then was the coolest thing ever. Back then, did we see a need to poke people? to own other humans as pets? to send them rounds of drinks? or was there even a need to shout out to our friends that "Gladys is thinking"? hmmm?
Nope, there was no need until someone comes along with the latest innovation that blows our brains out! so before you waste another 3 years, wondering why the hell didn't you sign up for twitter earlier... here's the chance to be updated with technology, to embrace web 2.0! be a twitter today!

Besides updating your tweets via web, you can do it through your mobile, IM, or even through Twhirl Twhirl/ Twitterific (if ya on mac). The interface of these twitter desktop client are pretty geeky! here's a screen shot of mine. (if you dont like the font/color, you can personalized it to your liking)
From my twhirl, you can see that I can reply to people's tweets. and if you are thinking twittering is just like a msn convo, well i think it's alot less distracting, and besides having one to one conversations like on msn, Twitter facilitates many people adding on to the conversation at any time of the day and it'll carry on. also see the right column on this page, under "twitter updates", i've brought my twitter page to you! You can see some of my replies to people's tweets.![@kennethteo is some cool dude!] haha!
Besides that, i can link my twitter to facebook. and whatever updates that i post on twitter will automatically be updated to my facebook status, and you will see "G is twittering: Planet shakers concert was a awesome time of worship!"
Furtheremore, Twitter can be linked to Remember the milk, which is like a online "to do list" and task management. What twitter does it to update you, on your twitter desktop (such as twhirl) of the deadlines dued! (remember the milk can be synced to your google calendar too!)
I know it may not seem "that fun" to be the first few people to have a twitter. you know how like facebook, handphones will never be as popular if it wasn't for others around you who are also users of these SNSs and gadgets? twitter is the same! the more people you have connected on it, the more fun it will be! so get your own twitter and convert those around you to have 1 too! If you think you dont have enough friends on twitter, you can add/ "follow" other like minded singaporeans and allow this to be a new platform to meet new people! I assure you the Twitter community is the least desperate, but rather, a gathering of mature like minded people who i must say is the geeky sort.
Honestly, i feel that the possibilities of Twitter is endless... im really excited to see it grow and expand! Check out my Twitter page and "follow me"
