i do feel grown up. i had a 3 hour long meeting today. now my head is pounding. blah.

thanksgiving

so much i wanna thank God for. so here is my thanksgiving list.

Thank God for being God.
Thank God for my lovely job at DBS HR.
thank God for my california gym membership (20 bucks for 6 weeks! everybody go sign up now)
Thank God for a fabulous exotic dance lessons on monday.
Thank God for nice, sweet ladies in my HR department. (it like once in a blue moon u get to see a guy in my office)
thank God for good food all around my office.
thank God for dad who sends me down to work everyday.
Thank God for FRIENDS.
Thank God for the experience at pastor benny's healing service. (good or bad, it got me asking questiosn abt the Christian faith)
Thank God for Pastor Soo Yeong's email and his sharings.

so my job is really "banky" (i coined this term up). i get to do medical benefits, shares and loans pertaining to DBS employees.

so today i found the missing 1200 shares! which is pretty much $188840 worth of assets. my colleagues did alot of checking for a few days but they couldnt find out why the figures doesnt tally with the grand total. so i went through all the records diligently and managed to find the mistake!
so yup, boss is really pleased that everything adds up now. and she said "she loves me" hahas.

i serve an awesome God

here is my messy room. and im pretty much loving the mess. sometimes i do get frustrated at it, but today's not the day! hahas.

anyway, I got another job at DBS! it's a monday to fri job at DBS MAINBRANCH as HR assistant. it's like my dream come true. always wanting to work in the bank, and always wanted to work in shenton way. amazing eh.

which means today marks the end of my slacking days.
i will miss lots. but it's time for me to grow up and take on more responsbilities now.

GOD is awesome, He has blessed me so abundantly. yet, i know GOd gives and takes away." The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; the name of the Lord be praised" Job 1:21. I not only want to sing His praises when He blesses me, but continue to count my blessings in times of disappointment. For Jobs accounts in Job 2:10 " Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?"

job hunting

went job hunting today and PRAISE GOD! i got this job at DBS which pays 8 bucks an hour! hahas. it's amazing, cause almost 15 people turned up for this job interview and the bank managers picked only 4! hahas, hmmm not that i want to boast or anything, but there was never an interview that i attended where i got rejected.
yeah, like in njc, i rem the taiwan immersion prog, the touch rugby treasurer post, and now all these jobs interviews.
wow.
cross my fingers and pray SMU wont let me down.

Also, geri and I are now BUSINESS partners, we are doing tuition co ordination. the commission is great. hahas, so anybody has little bro or sisters that needs tuition pls come look for me. i got 500 over tuition teacher records here, and i can surely match 1 ideal one for u!

anyway, who says all the jobs in classified are sucky? coz i came across this ad that is looking for PARTTIME FOOD TASTER and they pay 12 bucks an hOUR!!! hahas. too bad, they are looking for pple above 21.

i FINISHED stage 5 of my driving! wooooot. im so done with driving. just gonna see me rock the car on 29 may!

did i tell you, me and geri signed up for exotic dance classes?
well, today was the 2nd lesson and i think my hip rotation is making some progress here. we learn really complicated seductive moves, which i dont think i will be needing them in a club. cause i will just end up slapping everyone within 5 metre radius. and before the first set finish, i wont be surprised to hear everyone chanting " move bitch, get out the way, get the way bitch, get out the way"
