today i realised how big an IT noob ashley is.
hhahahas. i told him i sent him a ecard and he phoned me to tell me that he went to call the Starhub operator complaining that he cant receive the mms his fren sent him.

faints! ecard=mms?!!!

okay nothing much is happening at work, just that i think i have hots for mr yap my boss! hahahas. his laughter is so contagious i tell u and i eavesdrop his phone conversation everytime i get the chance to. lalalala.

oh and i met cheryl for lunch at a kebab cafe! =) yays! 1 more lunch partner for me!

finally have the opportunity to blog. cause today im on MC! =) reallyreally happy to be at home.
have been desperately yearning for this "me- alone" time.

Well cause working at office hours, somemore in tanjong pagar area, i just dont have the luxury of finding a place where i can spread out my both arms and not hit another office-attired person.

taking a train is also such a turnoff. blah.
i dont think i've managed to get a seat on the mrt since i started work.

hahas allrights. shall stop ranting.

the last time i really thought hard at something is probably during As...
the most mentally challenging activity i've done in this week is probably just a game of mastermind. (which i won!)

oh yar! the other time i thought hard is when i was trying to make sense of what the taxi driver was saying.
i think i mention before that there are illegal immigrants selling cigarettes at the road behind my house.

taxi driver : look! they are selling cigarettes over there.
me: yar yar! very cheap noe.. $5 per pack
taxi driver : aiyoh. those cigarettes not good one. will cause cancer. (taxi driver actually sounded proud at his little piece of information)

DURRRRRRRR!! tell me which type of cigarettes aint carcinogenic?


today's my first day driving on the road.
there's just no other feeling like this.

first day at getronics

today's my first day at Getronics. my company is located at keppel tower, where all the office crowd is. hahas. i do lots of typing and filing today. i even got my own table and computer.
praying really did work okay. i asked so many people to pray that i will get this job. thank God for that.
everything went really fast.

on wed, i got fired from stalford (am glad that whole episode is behind me now) met ashley for dinner, got recommended to his mom abt this job.
went for interview on thurs.
start working on FRIDAY, TODAY!

oh yar, during the interview, my manager didnt even LOOK at my qulifications la all the talk abt the importance of having a cert.. yadaadad. haha

i get to hang a lanyard ard my neck too.haas

okays! tomorrow is my FIRST driving lessons.
ask me when is the last time i did something for the first timme. coz i got so many first time experiences this year.

bittersweet

in the news we see stastistics figures that makes us beam.
"GDP grew 7.7per cent last year"
"Private homes prices rose by 10%"
yadadda.
"what a great start to the year", this economist said.

on the contrary, life hasnt been a bed of roses for me these past months.
maybe things will start to look up.
everything's bittersweet.


anyway, like me update on my job. im currently teaching pri school maths at stalford tuition centre.
hahas. yesterday i taught this class of pri2 kids.
omg. this kid actually jump around on the tables while i was teaching.
but i didnt freak out or what.
im kinda proud of them when they learn and understand what i've taught. =)
